Denmark entries a global organization within internet development.
The global Internet community - Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) - meet in the days 27th to 30th June 2016 in Helsinki to discuss the internet. ICANN is the global organization that controls the internet’s technical and political development. DK Hostmaster has been a member of the support group, Country Code Names Supporting Organization (ccNSO) working with recommendations to ICANN's top decision-making body. ccNSO represents 158 administrators worldwide, and DK Hostmaster has helped as a non-member for many years.
"It is time to take the step fully and apply for membership. We get knowledge and inspiration from our international colleagues, and they do the same with us. So it makes sense to have the framework in place," says Henriette Vignal-Schjøth, Head of Legal Department at DK Hostmaster and DIFO.
