DIFO was established to promote a secure and accessible internet under the .dk domain. Therefore, our job comprises the following tasks:

DIFO’s core tasks

• Administration of all .dk domain names.
• Operation and maintenance of the Danish internet infrastructure in DNS.

Other tasks

DIFO also performs a variety of other tasks of importance to the internet community:

• We work at the international level to ensure a democratic internet where all users have a participatory influence.
• We share knowledge and discuss internet development trends with the Danish internet community.
